Paula Barcelos Imparato has been a lawyer since 2013 and has been part of the firm Grondin Savarese since 2009. After practicing for a few years in civil and commercial litigation, she redirected her focus to immigration law, a field in which she has specialized—particularly in the economic stream. She represents both individuals and businesses, assisting them with their immigration processes.
Originally from Brazil, Paula earned a law degree there and practiced civil and commercial litigation for five years. She has been living in Quebec since 2006, where she obtained recognition for her law degree and completed a Master’s in Law at the Université de Montréal.
During her master’s studies, she received the Monique Ouellette Fund Excellence Scholarship in Civil Law, as well as a Writing Grant from the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Graduate Studies.
Deeply engaged in both her profession and community, Paula has been a member of the Immigration and Citizenship Law Committee of the Quebec Bar and has contributed to the CRL Blog of the Young Bar of Montreal. She has also served on the boards of Inform’elle (a legal information and family mediation center) and the CPE L’Attrait-Mignon daycare center. She is currently a volunteer with Éducaloi and the Montreal Women’s Centre.
